Some words on the cheating scandalThis hasn’t been confirmed by the band (at the time of writing this), but there’s very strong evidence that Mikey has cheated on Alicia with another woman, who he’s now engaged to. Normally I wouldn’t bring this up until it was officially confirmed, but I do think certain things need to be said.
First of all, here’s the story: a woman named Sarah (I’ve heard she’s a 20-year-old model) posted photos on her Instagram of her and Mikey kissing and cuddling, and claimed to be engaged to him. 9/11-- Just a reminderMCRmy Boston made a good post and I think it should be reposted here:
To those of you who are old enough to remember 9/11 you have some understanding of how horrible it was. I understand at this point, some of you were too young or just babies at the time, but I want to remind you that this is a serious thing and it's not to be confused as a celebration because MCR was formed from after it and it is not to be taken lightly so I hope that whatever you may say online today, on whatever site you go to, is respectful and tasteful on behalf of all MCR fans.
So just as a reminder, yes, something good came out of this tragedy, but please be respectful and don't try to use this as a party day. I think I can trust most people in this group not to do that but I'm posting this just in case.

Devious Journal EntryFrankly I’ve been hearing a lot of hypocritical bull shit.
I’ll give you a generalised being from what I’ve seen/read/whatever (and you might learn some psychology from this also);
There’s this guy, let’s call him Terry- ok? This isn’t someone I know, this isn’t anyone you’ll know, this is just a made up person called Terry who carries all of the opinions of all the people I’m talking/will talk about later on.

Writing effective OC/canon (final part)This was supposed to be one article, but I wrote so much that I split it up into four parts. I’m not here with the usual anti-Mary Sue rant (although that’s a valid rant.) Instead, here’s some things that you might not have thought about when pairing your OC with a canon character.

As much as I love everything they make, I still feel inclined to miss their old works... was listening to Hang 'Em High today, which made me sad and reminiscent... however i like ambulance more

I guess I'll be the odd one out, but these songs are generic and boring to me. They're kinda lackluster. Out of them though, I think Ambulance is better. Gun is just a disappointment to me thus far.

Welp, we'll see if they grow on me in time.

As much as I love My Chem, I agree when it comes to Gun especially. It didn't have any sort of feeling behind it from what I could see (compared to my favorites Helena, I'm Not Okay, and Famous Last Words). I'm not through listening to Ambulance yet, though. I liked the vocals to start that one. I'm listening to Ambulance as I type this, and I have to admit it makes good background music for writing, even though I'm not the hugest fan of it.

Agreed. With these two songs, I can really see why they scrapped the first album. They are a monotonous mess. Usually My Chem songs captivate me from the get-go, but "Ambulance" and especially "Gun" could be compared to My Chemical Romance lullabies. They are boring, dull, and predictable.

First time around, I didn't even really listen to them...I kind of found myself doing other things. I got distracted.

I feel so weird voicing this opinion though because I see so many people saying, "Oh, the REAL My Chem is back. This is the My Chem I fell in love with!!!!" And I'm just shaking my head, thinking, "You have got to be joking me."
