My Chemical Romance
Danger Days: True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys (This title has been confirmed.)
£8.99
Availability: pre order now
Release date: 22-11-2010
No album artwork yet.
-Before all this insanity, -Gerard tweeted some possible song lyrics and Wendy Rollins tweeted the names of two new songs: Got 2 titles for new #mychemicalromance : "na na na" + "sing"
-Frank posted a picture of an empty desert on the band's website, with California 2019 and a spider logo plastered over it: [link] The spider logo has been used on a picture Gerard submitted to an art show and is the logo for his new comic, The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
-The first single will be "Bulletproof Heart". More information and cover art can be found here. Possible song lyrics can be found here.
-We also have the album cover for "Na Na Na". Click here to see it.
-Tom Bry listened to the new album and tweeted about it. You can read his tweets here.
-Rolling Stones has an article about the album. Click here to read it. Here is a clearer picture of that photo. It's possible that the man in the mask is not actually Frank, because he's too tall and has no visible tattoos.
Video 1B
-DrDeathDefying tweeted I caught a case of vma once during the helium wars- this is way scarier. Stay inside dust angels- [link] The video shows someone with the BLND mouse mask walking around the desert. Some people believe it's Gerard, but other people think it's Mikey or the new drummer because s/he's too tall and skinny to be Gerard.
Video 1C
-He also tweeted the second video: Oh man, when did this zone become the fuckin' Valley of the Draculoids?! [link] It shows people in masks walking around the desert. One of them looks like the mask "Frank" is wearing here.
Video 1D
-He tweeted Skate your darling little heart out Ladyboy, we need the signal! [link] This video shows the "ladyboy" rollerskating.
-From a MCR forum: "For the picture of the clocks that was sent out, if you look the clocks have names of places: Buonos Ares is the first, then London, then two Berlins for some reason. I was thinking that possibly they can hint on release dates for different areas, with BA representing Americas, London representing London, cos for some reason they always have stuff a day before everyone, just like they had The Black Parade is Dead before everyone, and Berlin represents Europe! The two hands for London add up to 10 and the rest are like 11." (Note: ~MCRomantical says that America gets things earlier, not London.)
-The top middle counter skips 15. The top left counter goes to 20, skips back to 18 or 19, then continues again. Supposedly it repeats the number 2 at some point. All the counters stop at 59. Some fans claim that the counters have recently sped up.
-Supposedly the counter stops for a few seconds at a certain point. I've heard 11-9-10 and 11-23-10.
-From ~RikuShadow: "Box one flicks the #2 twice, box two skips #15 and box four speeds up significantly at #17. Add them = 44. Subtract them = -30. This could be a countdown". She included a Bible passage that might be significant: [link]
---
-The channels:
Blank screen
-From ~mcrfan96 "I just took another look at just the plain yellow screen that is on the TV when you first go onto the webpage and theres a strange looking bright yellow/white blob in the middle of the screen. and to me it looks like theres some sort of landscape underneath it...it looks like a desert...Area 51; I noticed more things, the shape of a cloud in the upper right hand side of the screen and the shape of a horizon directly below the sun"
-From ~Rheion: "The blank channel doesn’t actually have a number on it (it looks a lot like a U with a dot in the center lol)". It could also be a G, or a standby symbol.
-Some people claim that you can see a picture in the blank screen. Possibilities include a web page, a person wearing a gas mask, clouds, two people standing in front of a building, a robot, a gun, a face, a swastika, etc. Here is the building and people, and here is a nose and a rectangle.
-~Seraph5 has a theory that each character has their own station: [link]
10 RFDD - Video test pattern, with beeping.
-It could be related to The Umbrella Academy: [link] ~Roguemonkey1992 has more on the TUA theory: [link] So does ~vivalanina3463: [link]
-From this blog: "The Soviets took photos of Area 51, a secretive military zone in Nevada, to try and wreck American security, as they then put said photos on American TV. The image on RFDD is the image that appeared for a couple of seconds just before the photos came on."
-From ~liebezch: "The beeping stops once the first timer on the top repeats 11 times. Maybe that's the month?"
6 BLND
-Originally it was a black and white television test pattern with a creepy mouse face, playing "Insensatez" (Insensitive) by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
-~alylovesmusic has a theory on why they chose this song: [link]
-From this blog again: "BLND show a picture of a mouse, which used to appear on Brazilian TV screens back in the days when there was no televised images, and they just played background music, which appears to be the music you can hear on this channel".
-This could be related to Area 51: [link]
-It's similiar to an image in Fallout 3: [link]
-From ~LaurelAdams: "There are little numbers around the mouse's head in a square, from the top left clockwise they're: 325, 50, 200, and the last one I can't read."
-When a fan tweeted Dr.Death and asked if the BLND stands for "blind", he replied They grow them pretty clever in your Zone. You wouldn't happen to know how to fix rollerskates would you?
This blog suggests that BLND could be related to "three blind mice".
-The picture has changed to a video of a man in a mouse mask walking around the desert. It's also on Youtube here: [link]
-From *saturnangel: "There's a very strong possibility that the figure in the video is Dr. Death Defying. The back of the jacket in the video appears to have a decal or iron-on transfer that is peeling; Dr. Death Defying's user picture shows the back of a leather jacket with a decal. Also, the gloves the figure is wearing are very similar to the one on the left of the user picture.Further, it's a little hard to make out, but the front of the jacket bears the name of a band called 'Dead Pegasus'. A Google search will turn up a couple articles and a MySpace where they label themselves as '3/4 Jersey and 1/4 Philly'. The back of Dr. Death Defying's jacket reads 'Jackals' on top, 'Philly' on the bottom."
8 WKIL
-Thermal image test, with the sound of radio tuning and music in the background (some people have speculated that it's a new MCR song). The music has gradually grown clearer.
-The colors gradually change from warmer to cooler to warmer again- this could mean dying and coming back to life.
-Here is where the image came from.
-Some people believe that the image came from a photo of Area 51 (click here to see it).
-From this blog: "The scale down the left says the man is 323 to 223 degrees C, which no human could survive."
-From this blog comes a theory about the man and the mouse: "[link] Look, it's the same picture that's on the WKIL channel. It's an article about cell phones fighting Alzheimer's and it's tested on MICE - BLND channel has a picture of a mouse. If you go further down the article, it says 'The study that showed cell phones burn holes in the brains of rats was not “speculation”.' and on the BLND channel, have you noticed that there's a black dot on the mouse's forehead? Could it be a hole?"
-The music gradually grew clearer:
From a MCR forum: "It sounds like someone is changing radio stations on a radio that has like, a dial. there's the little bass bit at the beginning that repeats, then something, it sounds like a live performance almost, like there's a crowd, but it's not very clear. Then the bit, that's DEFINITELY Gerards voice, and yeah, it sounds like he's singing "because it all" and there's a little more, but I can't catch it. then some more stuff, then the national anthem."
From ~Kyon-Kichi: "On the WKIL channel they play the National Anthem? Well it used to be back in the day that TV channels wouldn't run constantly, and at the end of the programming schedule they would put up a sign and play the national anthem."
You can now hear "Look alive, sunshine" at the end. Someone has ripped the file here: [link]
-DrDeathDefying tweeted WKIL antenna almost fixed, can you hear me out there? Can you dig it?! so he's probably behind this channel.
12 KLSK
-It shows a spinning radioactive symbol.
-Originally it played Horse With No Name by America.
-It's rumored that blood was recently added to the disk. This is false. The blood was there from the beginning.
-"Horse With No Name" was originally titled "Desert Song", which probably explains why they chose it.
-On an MCR forum, one poster said "In the America's song they say 'It felt good to be out of the rain'. Ray mentioned that it always rains when they record".
-From !Invader-Iz: "In Horse With No Name by America, it says: The heat was hot and the ground was dry/ But the air was full of sound... DDD's picture was probably Slaughtermatic Sounds because of that line."
-Some people believe that if you play "Horse With No Name" backwards, you can hear Gerard's "na na na na na..." Click here to hear it. (Thanks to ~vivalanina3463.)
-The song has changed to "Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus.
-~skypies has an (updated) theory related to Watchmen: [link] ~Algaechild also has a theory: [link]
4 HRBT - Another tv test pattern, playing a heartbeat.
-~dancingdead32 confirmed that it is not morse code.
-This site explains the meaning of that test card.
-From this blog: "This channel contains a picture that you can see when a digital camera starts to refocus itself."
-From ~LaurelAdams: "HRBT: I ran the noise backwards (not all of it just a little) and to me it kind of sounds like a sound effect movie people would use in a SciFi movie for the alien transmations. I know it's far fetched, but it's just what I thought of. However if you just listen to it from the site, it sounds like a sonar detector in a submarine.
---
-Under "HBRT" are the words "LOG SCALE" and the numbers 0-10.
-Some people have speculated that BLND could mean "bland", "blonde", "blind", or best of all, "Beautiful Lesbos Never Die"; WKIL could mean "we kill"; KLSK could mean "classic"; HRBT could mean "heartbeat" or "The Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel"; RFDD could mean "Restriction Fragment Differential Display". PTTP could be a number of things: [link] WKIL was a pirate station in the late 80s that was shut down because the owner didn't have a permit for a transmitter.
-!kittygirl001 noticed possible similiaries between the band members and the channels:
BLND = Blonde. Gerard is currently blonde.
KLSK = Classic. This simply makes me think of Ray for some reason, and so does the song on that station.
HRBT = Heartbeat. Drums are the 'heartbeat' of the song, so this could be for the new drummer?
WKIL = We kill. This just seems like Frank.
RFDD = ? I'm guessing it has to do with Mikey somehow.
-According to chemicalromance: @DrDeathDefying started tweeting some MCR fans right around the time the website change happened. Then he posted some other tweets, that led to @NewsAGoGo. That account also tweeted some wacky things, and then that led to @AgentCherriCola. Ray Toro [and Frank] are following these accounts too. Also, DrDeathDefying has posted Look alive sunshine- Gerard tweeted a picture of those same lyrics before all the ruckus.
-VenomousFormaldehyde lists all their tweets.
-The general idea is that Gerard is DrDeathDefying, Mikey is AgentCherriCola and/or TommyChowMein, and Ray is NewsAGoGo. NewsAGoGo often updates at the same times Ray is on twitter. Some people believe that Frank is AgentCherryCola, but she is probably a fake. Click here to read more about the connection between the band and their characters.
-Many people believe that PartyPoison is the new drummer, and they might be female. There is also a possibility that she's Lyn-Z, judging by the pink background, Gerard's stamp (it's the same logo as the one on PP's twitter background and display picture), the way the tweets sound in general, and the fact that s/he tweeted "my hero" to DDD. She also said that s/he's known DDD for all of their "2nd" life.
DrDeathDefying
-"Death Defying Devil" is a DC comic book character. We all know how the band loves comic books.
-His background is a desert scene. Supposedly that scene is Area 51: [link]
-He tweeted Buried some TMGMK swag from last nights happening near the old whisky purification center. Good hunting! According to ~Estefa, KMGMT is TMGMK backwards, which is an artist management company owned by Mike Kaminsky. They once interviewed MCR after a concert in LA.
-He tweeted White suits on the horizon, wind stinks of latex, and I'm low on batteries, hinting that he might be a robot.
-From !kittygirl001 "Hey, that theory on DDD being a robot does make sense with not only what he's saying on twitter - but his name. I mean, technically, robots can 'defy death', right? Humans can only last so long, but a robot could last practically forever if put together properly, function like they should, and are well taken care of. Or maybe, he knows the secret to immortality?
-His userpic a jacket with the "Slaughtermatic Sounds" logo and other text: [link] When he first joined Twitter, it was simply the "Slaughtermatic Sounds" logo.
-He tweeted Here is a special request to kick off a certain zonerunners 30th time around the sun. [link], which obviously refers to Mikey's 30th birthday. *Echidna-kid said "Maybe the members of the band aren't actually the characters on Twitter? But they're still a part of the world?"
-He tweeted @ThankTheVenom They grow them pretty clever in your Zone. You wouldn't happen to know how to fix rollerskates would you? In MCR's casting call, they requested a "ladyboy" who can rollerskate.
NewsAGoGo
-They posted this picture of four clocks. Is he hinting at a certain time?
-On September 6th, they tweeted ...please stand by... and changed their background image to this: [link] Their display picture was changed to a test card that says "This is not a test".
-On September 10th, they tweeted ...zzzzzzzzzzzttttttttt...., then and...we're back! (applause) Sorry folks, it seems someone slipped a Vice tab into the fruit punch that runs our mainframe. Their display pic has returned to the previous one, but the background hasn't changed.
-They tweeted Urgent! Breaking news in 5...4...3...2..., then What was it again, we'll never find you? Here it is folks, our first glimpse. Agents! Go! [link] If you ask me, it sounds like News is tailing Dr.Death.
-They tweeted Poll! Whose side are you on? @drdeathdefying #TEAMDRDEATHDEFYLING or @agentcherricola #TEAMAGENTCHERRICOLA, then It's literally neck and neck right now. Sorry, there is NO #teamnewsagogo. According to TBP.net, "NAGG deleted 2 tweets that said there was no team tommy chow mein and that 'we aren't really sure why he exists'". No word on why they were deleted.
-They tweeted Urgent! 20180114191309191909151419120919200514201523110912. 20 18 01 14 19 13 09 19 19 09 15 14 19 12 09 19 20 05 14 20 15 23 11 09 12 = transmissions listen to WKIL. It's a simple number/letter substitution code. Thanks to ~Seraph5 for cracking it.
-They tweeted While we add up high scores from last nights fiasco...[link] The song is "Don't Worry Baby" by The Beach Boys. No word on what the "fiaso" is, although they might be referring to that team poll they did earlier.
-They retweeted several tweets with the word "raygun" in them, like anaisboss @NewsAGoGo, lets skip school, party in the desert, and aim our rayguns at the sky. Obviously ray guns are important.
-They don't like having their grammar corrected. The results are in! The answer is yes, "a" is a valid substitute for "er"... (they then tweeted about "BLASTAS"); Coming up later...A shocking new report on grammar and why we have better things to do than worry about it. Also, BLASTA results!; Brothas and sistas! Sons and daughters of nothing! Don't dot your I's! Fuck paragraphs and complete sentences! Don't let them control you!
-NewsAGoGo has apparently "died", or been taken over. Take a look at their last tweets for more details: [link]
DJHotCHIMP tweeted RIP @newsagogo This one goes out to you. [link]
AgentCherriCola
-She tweets about being at "full power" and "eating sound-waves and living off frequencies for weeks", which suggests that she could be an android. NewsAGoGo tweeted that she is an reporter working for them.
-She seems to be hunting something: Back on the hunt today. NewsAGoGo mentions that she "slaughters" and "massacres".
-She may be, er, promiscious. She tweeted At Hyper-Thrusts. Got a case of dust mouth. All they had was clean water, that shits so 2015. Pumped off a few Slam Chasers and split. NewsAGoGo replied hey, @agentcherricola you know what you're starting to sound like, right? Slaughtering, massacring are more ladylike than "pumping off".
-She tweeted "now I don't hardly know her.but I think I could love her...well if she come walking over. Now I've been waitin' to show her..." and "...my minds such a sweet thing.I wanna do everything.what a beautiful feeling..." These are lyrics from the song "Crimson and Clover" by Tommy James & The Shondells.
AgentCherryCola
-She tweets seemingly random phrases; some of them could be song lyrics. One of her tweets is "listening after all?", and I know there's an unreleased song that has the lyrics "What if I told you someone is listening after all?" Recently she's started tweeting mysterious numbers, like So long, 553209508338. and 10-12 (unwelcome) Jump Up. 647466670127. From ~Cryptic-Sphinx: "The numbers that agentcherrYcola tweets are the numbers of the chatzy room that she was in. The first long number is the same as the original link posted with "all for one" The second number is the one created by her."
-AgentCherryCola follows DrDeathDefying and NewsAGoGo, but they aren't following her, and neither are any of the band members. This suggests that she might be a fake. According to this blog, "NewsAGoGo released its name before they had set up the account, so someone went and grabbed the name and they had to change it."
-On Twitter, catiev posted this tweet: @NewsAGoGo @DrDeathDefying [link] ANYONE WHO WANTS TO FIGURE THIS OUT come join... #mychemicalromance
AgentCherryCola tweeted [link] all for one. If you want to read a chat transcript, click here.
TommyChowMein
-NewsAGoGo tweeted Also...is @TommyChowMein operating on all pistons? Or has he finally started a cycle? I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE!!!, introducing him to the world.
-He tweeted Quit my old gig to SELL, SELL, SELL! Was NAGG his "gig"?
-NewsAGoGo's tweet suggests that he could be a robot.
-He seems to be a salesman. He tweeted This plot can be all yours for the low, low price of 27,697 c! Can't be beat! [link] (a plot of dirt), Don't call it a wasteland! 2 quadrants available. Tons of potential! (Not responsible for preexisting hotspots.) [link] (a blurred photo of the desert), Why the fuck not?! Any takers? [link] (a wheel- I've heard that it's on a Trans Am), Probably not worth my time but WHO FUCKING CARES?!!! [link] (car meters), and Just us insects. Office space! Light me up! [link] (a wrecked stack of boxes).
PartyPoison
-NewsAGoGo introduced them by tweeting Brotha's and sista's! GET THE FUCK UP!!! @partypoison is LIVE!
-They tweeted Abort video mission, there will be another day. Dog food dinner and transmissions instead, impromptu parties bust out like a rash. and repeat- no Video Mission Abstracts. Save the gasoline, wrecking the theory that MCR would appear at the VMAs.
-They reply to several fans, often with what seems like nonsense.
-The pill logo on their twitter background and display picture is also Gerard's stamp.
DJHotCHIMP
-NewsAGoGo introduced them by tweeting Activating @DJHotCHIMP.
-Their first tweet is Comin' at you live. Jerry Seinfeld OVERDRIVE. White kicks and light blue jeans. Sleep disorder on the AM. Keep an eye out for a character with light blue jeans and white shoes.
AgentCherriCola is the ladyboy, I’m pretty sure about it because of what was said just before the video was posted and because he (I knew it wasn’t a she! xD) said he’d be going all polka dottie on PartyPoison. What is the ‘ladyboy’ wearing? Polka dots!
Party Poison is Gerard I guess, because of the symbol and because of this: “I’m a poster on your bedroom wall. I’m a red red rabies-baby.” Red…I think that makes sense NOW. And he’s the one wearing the mouse head, at least in this video (and I think in the surveillance one too).
About the bald guy (yes, I know some people knew him from ‘real life’ -Grant Morrison, but I don’t know him, sorry! The comic word is not my wold. xD) I think he might have something to do with NewsAGoGo. He has headphones on, also. If NewsAGoGo is a TV station, maybe he’s behind it?
And we saw the Doctor, who according to people is [Steve Righ] from MSI *shrugs*. I don’t know about that, not into that band at all. I only know the Doctor reminded me of Lemmy! xD
I have no idea where Tommy fits in into this, or the new character that appeared now (DJ Hot Chimp).
Characters:
DrDeathDefying, AgentCherriCola, AgentCherryCola, NewsAGoGo, and PartyPoison who interact with each other via Twitter.
"Wave-Heads" (ACC: "Mega Moon's Throttle bar...full of Wave-Head's...good thing I was at full power...when those guys pop, its just literally shit everywhere")
"!*@#?DROIDS" (NAGG: "Oh, the horror! Kilos of !*@#?DROIDS found dead late last night in the outskirts of 4. Warning sign or simple mass suicide? You decide.") Click here for some possible theories on the 'droids.
"Slam Chasers" (ACC: "At Hyper-Thrusts. Got a case of dust mouth. All they had was clean water, that shits so 2015. Pumped off a few Slam Chasers and split.")
"Sledge Hogs" (ACC: "Held up by a few former Sledge Hogs claiming to be the new X-Ray Council of 2...right...well, if they were, they aren't anymore")
The rollerskating "ladyboy", young girl, bald guy, and masked men in the album trailer.
Time period: It seems to be post-apocalyptic. The characters often talk about destruction:
NAGG: "complete blackout. generators on stand-by. noise outside. screaming. static. sounds like...like, robots dying..."
DDD: "Shits all fucked up in the zones"
DDD: "The sun is setting over three miles of broken glass"
DDD: "One hell of an alarm clock for Zone 3 starting our broadcast day. That was almost a triple earthquake."
NAGG: "AM scans reporting the Stacks emitting green smoke. If the air starts smelling like limeade, EVACUATE AT ONCE!"</b>
We now know this takes place in the future. AgentCherryCola tweeted At Hyper-Thrusts. Got a case of dust mouth. All they had was clean water, that shits so 2015. Pumped off a few Slam Chasers and split.
This article confirms that it is indeed post-apocalyptic, and the album is intended to be a radio transmission. The year is 2019.
Places:
Zone 1- Possibly North and South America, bordering on the Atlantic Ocean.
Zone 2- Possibly Europe, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East.
Zone 3- Possibly Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. When DDD tweeted about a "triple" earthquake in Zone 3, New Zealand had three small earthquakes.
Zone 4- Possibly North and South America, bordering on the Pacific Ocean. (source)
Battery City (DDD: "There are more pills produced in Battery City than grains of sand in Zone 4.")
Wolfblood Beach (DDD: "Answer: Popping nitros near Wolfblood Beach will break more than your heart, it'll get you ghosted.")
Fuck You House (DDD: "Massive/Awesome, Cold Dead Hands, and Mad Gear live at Fuck You House. Doors 18:30. Short shorts MANDATORY!!!")
Mega Moon's Throttle Bar (ACC: "Mega Moon's Throttle bar...full of Wave-Head's...good thing I was at full power...when those guys pop, its just literally shit everywhere")
A whisky purification center (DDD: "Buried some TMGMK swag from last nights happening near the old whisky purification center. Good hunting!")
The Stacks (NAGG: "AM scans reporting the Stacks emitting green smoke. If the air starts smelling like limeade, EVACUATE AT ONCE!")
A desert: DrDeathDefying mentions "grains of sand" in Zone 4, and he has a desert in his twitter background. (Thanks to *ItsBeen10fuckinYears for that idea.)
Possibly a nuclear testing facility: they talk about "Zones", the desert, and "the blast". (Thanks to ~Yaisen for that one.)
Concept: (Most of these are old theories, and may not be accurate).
-!kittygirl001 came up with this theory: I'm thinking their concept here could be a radio station in the future during an apocalypse of some sort. This is only judging from the twitter posts made by the new characters - they talked sorta like they were on a radio show, which would also explain their names since DJs tend to have 'DJ names' they go by on their station. At least some of the ones out here do
-"The album apparently revolves around a dystopian future where Robots are king and the humans are forced to work. Dr. Death Defying is the leader of the rebellion against this oppressive government. NewsAGoGo is a computer set up to keep the rebels in line. He is working for the overlords. Agent Cherri Cola is the woman assigned to take out Dr Death Defying and kill the rebels." Click here to read more about that theory.
-From ~Zombierocker21: "I think Dr. Death Defying is rebel who is slightly mad and killing bots. He kidnapped the human CherryCola and tortured her so that all she says are these broken fragmented sentences that make no sence. That's where CherriCola comes in...she was built by Tommy Chow Mein under the guidance of NewAGoGo (who is super evil) to find the real Cherry and kill the Doctor. (oOOo...maybe Sunshine is an agent too...maybe the Doctor is telling someone they need to look alive, not the fans but a character...after all...one is named after Cherry Coke.)"
-This blog contains the theory that the album is related to aliens and Area 51. Click here for more on the Area 51 theory.
-This blog has several theories about the concept, including one about nuclear bombs and radiation. This comment by ~Estefa also talks about the radiation theory.
-From *PinkHorseInc "Well, Gerard seemed pretty hip on nuclear devastation in UA Dallas... Maybe it all ties into a lose theme of atomic warfare, but using the real events from the past to make an analogy for the current...? Like, I'm pretty sure in one article he was saying it's a protest album, or along the lines of that, but from there they had to define it better beyond a protest album. So, what if they're protesting current government affairs revolving around a fear of nuclear warfare with other less amiable countries? It can also connect to Area 51, y'know secret government base, the government being tricksy tricksters, etc..."
-*PinkHorseInc also has a theory that the whole concept is related to music: [link]
-From !Invader-Iz: "Another thing, DrDeathDefying tweeted this recently: Buried some TMGMK swag from last nights happening near the old whisky purification center. Good hunting! It seems there was some sort of party last night. It's post-apocalyptic and these people are partying. They must be eerie and cryptic." Gerard has referred to this album as "the last party before the end of the world".
-From ~lovelylady123: "I'm wondering if this is a world we haven't seen completely before, but it's like the Patient's world before he died".
-!kittygirl001 has a theory that the album is about a government conspiracy/terrorism, and centered in America: [link] [link] </b>
-From !kittygirl001: "I looked up the lyrics to 'Goodbye Horses' which, btw, is by Q Lazzarus - and it would appear to be a song about getting over something. I'm thinking a lost love, but I could be wrong. I have a feeling it has something to do with NewsAGoGo trailing DrDeathDefying. I bet DDD did something wrong, and since News has been trying to catch him, it affected News but now he's over it. I also looked up the lyrics to 'Crimson and Clover' and was thinking that, perhaps, Cherri and News had something going on and DDD got inbetween them and broke them up, which led News to be angry and go after him, but now he's over it but still wants to finish what he started?"
-NewsAGoGo tweeted Urgent! Breaking news in 5...4...3...2..., then What was it again, we'll never find you? Here it is folks, our first glimpse. Agents! Go! [link] The picture clearly shows Dr. Death Defying in the desert. News is probably tailing Dr. Death, and Cherri is one of his agents.
-TommyChowMein posted a picture of a plot of dirt with the tweet This plot can be all yours for the low, low price of 27,697 c! Can't be beat! Note that he uses "c", not "$" or any other symbol. Does this new universe have some new form of currency?
-From ~hiddenXartist316: "Earlier Dr.D tweeted a link to the video for "Simple Man" by Klaus Nomi. Listen to the lyrics. They say "You want to know the simple things in my simple plan and I know there's so much to share, but what else can I do" and later says "It's such a simple, simple plan I hope you understand" I kind of think he's trying to tell us something with that."
-~flatlungs has a theory related to the BLND mouse: [link]
-~Algaechild has a theory related to The Silence of the Lambs: [link]
Ok so I put my ARG skills to work and got this information for you guys. Because information allows us to deduce. Sorry if this scares you guys lol, these are all tricks I've seen pulled on J.J Abrams fueled ARG's so just second nature by now.
1. I opened the source code for the website which can be done in most browsers. In Safari it's View -> View Source. Or shift+command+U. In there I found interesting stuff and sure more technical guys can find even more, I just did a scan through for internal links they didn't disguise.
1.a. First up, heres the Javascript code that I pulled out of the source code. It's been machine compiled so can't be read by humans. Any web dev. out there that can repackage it for more information? By reading the javascript we'll be able to tell the intent of this design.

1.b. More source information, the flash we are seeing is a download from Warner Bros. Records website here:

Theres a variable declaration in the source code that appears to switch the module read out number (changes what we see) over a period of time, which is probably determined internally by the counters we see. So keep an eye out, it may change at any moment.
1.b.i. The counters are traveling at different intervals (duh). When timing their loop length to go from 00-60 it was found that they are in scales of 2. The top left and bottom right loop every 2 seconds. The top middle and bottom left are looping every 22 seconds. And the top-right and bottom-middle loop every 16 seconds. Scaled for speed that's 2-16-22. Don't think it's a date. Ideas what this means?
1.c. The end of the source code reveals that there are other lines of code that they are storing to change to a full webpage because there are calls for headers like "News" etc. Another reason to stay looking out. RSS feed it people.
2.a. Lastly, I've got people removing the frequencies from the WKIL and the RFDD pages to listen to the underneath sounds. I might stay up to do a frequency imaging too to see if they hid anything in there.
2.b. The HBRT header is a very short loop, you can hear the break. Someone should verify it's not morse code before the confirmation bells.

More information for those that care. It hasn't changed so I prefer to do it the fun ARG way, you should help out too.
1.a. RFDD=10
BLND=6
WKIL=8
KLSK=12
HRBT=4
Blank Screen= 2
These may mean something since the loop intervals of the timers are in pairs of twos.
2.a. I was reading a fan club somewhere else and they documented the timers stopping or dates that seem plausible for a release date. If you see it stop please note the numbers and time of day. If it stops regularly we can look for meaning therein.
If you have any more news or theories, please keep us posted! This blog will be updated with any new info, so keep checking back. And feel free to post as many comments as you need
